Kerrville Election Will Likely Move to November

The Kerrville City Council made the decision this week to move the city’s election from May to November. The vote was originally scheduled for May 2, but the initial move this week will likely make that date November 3rd. The Kerrville city council will likely formalize the resolution when they meet next month. The council also unanimously agreed to spend $500,000 from the city’s Economic Improvement Corporation to make a significant renovation to the Doyle School Community Center. On a side note, the city council meeting looked a little different this week with no audience. Comments were routed in through a teleconferencing software. Council members were also spread out across the room with at least six feet between them.
