Baroody Retains an Attorney

A city council meeting last November could lead to a lawsuit. The council voted 3-2 at the meeting to ban George Baroody from discussion about a lawsuit filed against the city over sober living homes and where they should be located. The council also voted that night to remove Baroody’s title as mayor pro tem. The Daily Times reported the ban followed Baroody’s attempt to speak to opposing counsel about the case. Now Baroody has retained an attorney that could represent him in a potential case against the city of Kerrville. No action has been taken yet.
