Kerrville Leaders Decide Against 2050 Committee

Leaders in Kerrville had been looking at creating a committee to look into concerns with the Kerrville 2050 Comprehensive Plan to address how to maintain property and continue code enforcement as part of the master plan. But the city council voted this week to nix that idea after several members didn’t think the concerns were valid. The master plan has already been approved, and looks at ways to help city growth though land use, economic development, housing, parks and open space, and more. They’ll work on implementing the plan without the special committe for now.
