Thursday Event Highlights History of Cattle Trails

Your chance to get a little Texas history…those who really know the cattle trails will give a talk on Thursday, and anyone can attend. The Frontier Times Museum in Bandera says Gary and Margaret Kraisinger have spent more than 40 years researching the cattle trails that went through Texas to the north, and they’ve created more than 150 maps showing where the cowboys established feeder routes and splinter routes. They’ll share those on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. at the Frontier Times Museum. It’s a free event.

The Frontier Times is located at 510 13th Street in Bandera.
